Bennett I. BertenthalDear Colleagues,

As the semester comes to a close, and we prepare for our wide-ranging summer activities, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for your exceptional efforts to ensure that an IU education is second to none. This past semester has been like no other. We were riveted by Barack Obama’s historical ascension to the presidency against a background of increasing concerns about the world-wide financial crisis. Nevertheless, it was an incredibly productive year for faculty in the College. I am delighted once again to be sending news of recent accomplishments by you and your colleagues.

My very best wishes to all of you for an enjoyable and productive summer.
