Action
- Approved minutes of October 29, 2004 as written.
- Accepted European Union Minor Proposal as amended with the new information provided by Fritz Breithaupt.
- Reaffirmed current policy on distribution credit: courses that meet the guidelines for distribution can
carry that designation, even if the courses are at the 300 or 400 level. Before the next bulletin,
departments will be asked to review their distribution designations to verify that all current course
designations are still appropriate.
Other Items
- Claire King from COPSL presented a service learning video
- IU currently has about 50 courses that offer service learning
- Not all departments or faculty are aware of this program; need to get more information out to them.
- Item 5 on agenda (Follow-up to Senior Year Initiatives and Career Services) tabled until the next meeting.
