- Experienced in crafting gifting strategies to meet the needs of specific donors, including analyzing donor’s interests and matching them to the funding needs of the College of Arts and Sciences.
- Stewards a portfolio of donors in Indiana, St. Louis, and throughout the southeastern and southwestern United States, traveling frequently to meet with and engage donors in the life of the College.
- Strong record of researching, cultivating, and securing donations in the higher education setting, including major gifts, annual fund contributions, and restricted and unrestricted financial support.
- Initiated, managed, and coordinated budgets, volunteer committees, and funding campaigns for the IU Foundation and the Well House Society, spearheading the largest class anniversary campaigns to date.
Jeffrey Stuckey has worked in development positions at Indiana University in Bloomington for more than 15 years, forging relationships and engaging potential donors to strengthen the university’s financial capabilities on a number of levels. Beyond merely identifying prospects and soliciting donations, he actively engages donors with gifting options that have resulted in successfully closing gifts of up to $1 million and more. In his current position, Stuckey works as a liaison between departments, the university’s College of Arts and Sciences, the IU Foundation, the IU Alumni Association and donors to improve the university’s outreach to alumni and friends. Prior to his work in higher education, Stuckey helped produce high school basketball all-star games, coordinating everything from television arrangements to associated retail merchandise.
