Masters of Arts for Teachers: A group of Professional Enrichment Programs
The College of Arts and Sciences currently offers the following Master of Arts for Teachers (M.A.T.) programs and courses in the natural and social sciences, humanities, and languages. The M.A.T. degrees are designed to train graduates for careers in secondary school teaching and offer opportunities to increase content knowledge in a wide variety of subject areas while advancing the student’s teaching skills. Students who wish to continue their post-baccalaureate studies on a non-degree basis without concentrating in a single department may also apply to the College of Arts and Sciences Professional Enrichment Program.
