Summer Opportunities for Students
The Office of Science Outreach and the School of Education have partnered together to bring Camp Invention to Bloomington. Camp Invention is a one-week science day camp for elementary students. - Foundations in Science and Mathematics Summer Program
A two week summer program designed to help local students prepare for upcoming high school science and mathematics courses.
- Jim Holland Summer Enrichment Program (SEP)
A one-week residential program open to Indiana high school minority students.
- Jim Holland Summer Science Research Program (SSRP)
A one-week residential program open to students who have previously participated in the Holland Summer Enrichment Program.
- Project SEED
An eight-week non-residential internship for high school students to conduct research with faculty mentors and receive college and career counseling.
State Science Competitions
- Indiana Junior Academy of Science (IJAS)
The IJAS is sponsored by the Indiana Academy of Science and is hosted by the Office of Science Outreach at Indiana University. The fall meeting and competition are held in November each year.
- Indiana Science Olympiad State Tournament
The 2014 Indiana Science Olympiad State Tournament was held on the IU Bloom-ington campus. For the latest information and updates go to the State Tournament Website.
