If you’re an outstanding high school student and you’re planning a career in science, IU STARS can provide you the competitive edge necessary for success. The IU STARS Program gives a select group of science majors an opportunity to conduct research while earning a bachelor’s degree at IU.
Here’s what IU STARS offers you:
- Four years of laboratory research experience as an undergraduate starting your first semester at IU
- Mentoring by a leading faculty scientist throughout your undergraduate career
- Participation in the annual IU STARS Research Symposium providing excellent research presentation experience
- Excellent preparation for graduate study and for challenging jobs in the sciences
- Students may receive academic credit for their STARS research. Contact the Program Manager for more details.
