Abel Scholarship

For one or more incoming freshmen who are majoring in the arts and humanities

The amount of the Abel Scholarship and the number of recipients vary from year to year. The scholarship may not be available some years.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:

  • List your intended major in the arts and humanities on your application for admission to IU Bloomington
  • Be admitted to IU’s freshman class for the coming academic year
