
Jim Trilling
Jim Trilling is an attorney at the Federal Trade Commission, where he leads investigations, litigation, and policy initiatives regarding privacy, data security, and other consumer protection issues. He previously worked for the U.S. Senate Commerce Committee, practiced at a law firm, and clerked for U.S. District Court Judge David F. Hamilton. In addition to his degree from IU, Trilling earned his J.D. from Harvard Law School. He is president of IU’s Washington, D.C., alumni chapter.
