The Don Cook Memorial Scholarship and Lecture

The IU Department of English is hosting a special lecture and reception next month: The 2023 Don Cook Memorial Scholarship and Lecture.

Held on Saturday, April 8, at 1:00 p.m., the event will feature University of Connecticut Professor Emerita Clare Virginia Eby, who will be presenting a lecture titled, "Money, Mobs, and Media: The Divided America of W. D. Howells and C. W. Chesnutt." A reception will follow, featuring drinks, light appetizers, and light pastries.
