• If your department would like to drop off materials early to be set up for the event, they can be dropped off at the 2nd floor Welcome Desk of Ernie Pyle Hall between Wednesday, August 11 and Wednesday, August 18.
• On the day of the event, there will be two check-in locations for faculty and staff: Check-in station 1 is the loading dock between Ernie Pyle Hall and Dunn Meadow off 7th Street. This station is primarily for faculty and staff who need help moving their materials to the meadow for set up. Check-in station 2 will be located outside the Majors + Careers Expo tent in Dunn Meadow. Table locations will be provided at check-in, and department tables will have table markers on them for identification.
• Be aware that the event will take place rain or shine, since all of the festivities will be located under large tents.
• We anticipate students arriving as setup is finishing, and some will stay as late as 3:30 PM.
• All registered laptops have wireless internet access in Dunn Meadow; however, electricity will not be available.
• We encourage you to bring academic brochures, giveaways, and attractive table displays to create a friendly, fair-like atmosphere. Bring materials that make your department or program stand out. Additionally, we recommend bringing paper weights to hold down loose paper items in the event of wind. 
• We encourage you to offer a hands-on activity that engages and teaches about your discipline. If you have specific questions about planning an activity or game please let us know!
