In September 2023, Ayla Winegar will be starting a doctoral program in Affective, Social, and Cognitive Psychology at the University of Denver. She will be researching bias and social inequality as well as teach courses in Psychology. We are so proud of Ayla.
Ayla graduated in May 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from the College of Arts and Sciences. She served as an undergraduate teaching assistant for the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences and worked with postdoctoral research fellow Dr. Heidi Vuletich in Dr. Amanda Diekman’s Social Roles Laboratory to complete her honors thesis. In 2021, Ayla was the recipient of a Kate Hevner Mueller Award.
