A new Earth and Atmospheric Sciences course explores the controversial topic of climate engineering.
Our most pressing dilemma as a species, climate change, was too terrifying and too interesting for Assistant Professor Ben Kravitz to pass up. He earned his Master’s and Ph.D. in Atmospheric Sciences from Rutgers University, and after several years as a postdoctoral research assistant and staff scientist, Kravitz began teaching in the College of Arts and Sciences’ Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences. This fall he will address one of the hottest topics of the climate change debate in his Fall 2020 course: EAS-E490 Climate Engineering.
