I advise students interested in the B.A. and B.S. degrees in Biology and Microbiology, the B.S. degree in Animal Behavior, the B.S. degree in Molecular Life Sciences, and minors in Animal Behavior, Biology, and Molecular Life Sciences. Students can declare the Biology minor online (no need to make an advising appointment). To declare the Animal Behavior minor, the Animal Behavior certificate, or the Molecular Life Sciences minor, email us at bioadv@iu.edu. All of our programs offer opportunities to do undergraduate research, and there are some excellent IU overseas study programs that work well for our majors.

My academic background is in English, music, and education. As an undergraduate, I studied abroad in England and Germany and feel that overseas study can be immensely rewarding, no matter what your major. I believe meaningful education in the liberal arts and sciences is vital to the flourishing of individuals and communities alike, and I enjoy working with students as they navigate the joys and challenges of IUB!
