- Course Description
This service trip addresses the Rwandan literary drought by bringing schoolchildren English books written by children in Bloomington. Build playgrounds, teach English courses, and serve as a resource for Rwandan teachers in rural areas. The trip includes excursions to Gisoze Genocide Museum, Lake Burera, Volcanoes National Park (one of the very few places in the world where you can still see gorillas in the wild), Nyamata Genocide Memorial, Queen Elizabeth National Park in neighboring Uganda, and many more.
