Course Description

In conjunction with a partner organization, 7Elements, you'll participate in a variety of service projects throughout the program, such as building bottle buildings, laying cement floors, providing community education on water filtrs, and cacao reforestation projects, among others. Cultural excursions are also an important part of the program, with trips to Sosúa beach, the city of Santiago, Laguna Gri-Gri, and Lagune Dudú.

Includes academic fees, housing, some meals, excursions, and health insurance. Student is responsible for flights, personal expenses, and vacation travel.

Eligibility requirements
At least second semester of college; 3.0 GPA; are able to engage in sustained physical activity in the heat; are willing to live and work in a group
