We will be offering 1- and 2-week classes in a variety of formats, including in-person, online, or a combination of both (hybrid). Students who will live on campus and whose class meets in-person or in a hybrid format will be able to move in just prior to the start date for the class.

Courses will count as electives in the College of Arts and Sciences.

Pre-Fall 2020 Intersession classes are taught by College faculty.

If you have already registered for classes, you may adjust your schedule by following the instructions for “Continuous Drop/Add” at the Student Central Website.

If you have questions, contact us at collavsg@iu.edu.

Students enrolled on other IU campuses would need to apply to take classes at IUB as a temporary intercampus transfer student and additional tuition and fees may apply. You can find the application and more information about taking classes at IU Bloomington as a non-degree student here: https://nondegree.indiana.edu.

Students who remain within the flat tuition rate limits for the Fall 2020 and Spring 2021 semesters will see no additional tuition cost.

Students who are enrolled in an in-person or in-person hybrid course and will be living on campus will not incur any additional fees for housing/meal plans.

If you are enrolled in an online course, you will complete your work from home.

If you applied for and were admitted to campus housing and you are enrolled in an in-person or in-person hybrid course, you will be able to obtain an earlier move-in day that is just prior to the class start date.

Residential Programs and Services will contact students with move-in details including specific move-in instructions, time frames, and fall assignments.

IU is taking numerous measures to protect our students, faculty, staff, and the greater IU community. Visit the fall2020.iu.edu website to see some of the actions IU is taking as we prepare to return to campus.
