The B.A. in Art History acquaints you with the major developments in the history of art and the discipline and methods of art history, and elucidates the work of art within the period and culture in which it was produced.

The curriculum provides a balance of training in the practice, theory, and history of visual arts in order to understand and enhance the human sensibility and its diverse potential. In the classroom, our faculty foster an aesthetic and intellectual environment in which the highest levels of creativity and critical thinking in the visual arts are studied, practiced, and learned.

Our students go on to work in fields like business, the arts, teaching, and more.
