Arts + Humanities

To better understand the world (and how to make an impact on it), humanities students learn to critically analyze the motivations, desires, and values of others and foster a deeper understanding of the human experience, both past and present, by exploring history, literature, customs, and cultures.

From motion to emotion, function to form, whether written or spoken, front-and-center or behind-the scenes, our arts students find there’s an outlet for every kind of creative energy here.

Here, we come with minds wide open, ready to outgrow our own perceptions, shed our sense of self, and see the world from a new point-of-view (or two). In the College, enlightened thinkers are taught to unlock new ways of challenging what we know to expand our potential for growth, empathy, and the ability to live a more thoughtful life.

Our arts graduates turn their creativity into careers as illustrators, graphic designers, creative writers, audio engineers, architects, industrial designers, PR specialists, merchandisers, painters, sculptors, performers, photographers, scriptwriters, animators, art and creative directors, and educators.
