What is an Accelerated Master's Program (AMP)?
The College of Arts and Sciences Accelerated Master's Programs (AMP) are combination degree programs designed so that students may complete both a baccalaureate degree and a master’s degree in a shorter amount of time.
You can add an AMP to any College of Arts and Sciences undergraduate major. For example, you can obtain a History B.A. and a Germanic Studies M.A.; a Philosophy B.A. and a Sociology M.A.; or a Human Biology B.S. and a Latin American and Caribbean Studies M.A. You have flexibility to choose a combination that best meets your needs and goals.
Interested students should contact their undergraduate advisor as early as possible. It is best to begin planning for a AMP by the end of your sophomore year.
